If you’ve ever wondered if there’s still a place for shooting sports in America, you can stop wondering! We had the pleasure of spending several great days at the 54th Annual Daisy BB Gun Nationals where 64 teams converged to see who was going to come out on top. This is not an “open” competition. Teams have to qualify regionally before they are eligible to come and compete. In the end, there can be only one, and it was a ton of fun getting to watch just how seriously these kids take this sport. It’s a testimony to Daisy and Gamo in the face of an ever-changing climate attempting to drive guns from our national heritage, to keep shooting sports, gun safety, shooter education, alive in this great country.
